Release of Identity Verification and Hall Points Result for Continuing UGs Housing Application for RY2026-27​

Applicants who declared No-Home-Base status and/or applied for hall points will be notified of the results via their HKUST email. Refer to the schedule below for result release and appeal periods. If you do not receive an email, contact ughousing@ust.hk within 2 working days. Late inquiries or appeals will NOT be accepted.

1. Identity Verification

No-Home-Base Status Verification Result  16 - 17 April 2026 Within 7 days after the result is released 

2. Hall Points 

  Result Release on Type of Result Appeal Period**
Travelling Time to Campus 21 - 24 April 2026 Verification Result + Hall Point Within 7 days after the result is released 
Leadership and Contribution to Campus Life 4 - 8 May 2026 Current + Coming Year Positions Verification Result + OVERALL Hall Point Within 7 days after the result is released 
Outstanding Achievements 21 - 24 April 2026 Verification Result + Hall Point Within 7 days after the result is released 
No Hall Offer in Previous Year/ Years 21 - 24 April 2026 Hall Point Not applicable

All appeals will be reviewed by the Hall Admissions and Selection Committee, and their decision will be final and irrevocable. 

**Before the appeal result is finalized, your hall application will continue to be processed based on the original verification and hall point results. Therefore, the appeal outcome may not be reflected in time for the first and main round of hall offer.
