The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Jockey Club Hall ("Jockey Club Hall") is a 9-storey student hall located outside HKUST campus in Tseung Kwan O.
Jockey Club Hall provides double rooms in self-contained 8-person apartments to accommodate up to 500 students.

Hall Education Team - Jockey Club Hall
When you live with us, you will have a holistic mentoring team supporting you all along the way. Each hall has a Residence Master who is a full-time faculty of the University and lives in the hall together with hall residents. The main role of the Residence Master is to provide intellectual and pastoral guidance and organize activities that will facilitate learning in the affiliated hall. The Residence Master is assisted by a Residential Life Officer and a group of Postgraduate Hall Tutors.

Hall Facilities
All bedrooms in JCH are fully furnished and air-conditioned. A chair, a desk, a wardrobe, a shoe cabinet, a bookshelf, an internet outlet port and a bed with mattress are provided to each resident. Electronic meters are installed for the air conditioners and residents are charged according to actual electricity consumption.
Each apartment is equipped with a living room fully furnished with chairs, a sofa, a dining table, a coffee table, a refrigerator and a microwave oven. Residents can only use the microwave oven in the living room of the apartment and are not allowed to relocate it. Cooking facilities are not provided, residents should prepare their own water boilers for drinking water, and bring their own portable induction stove for light cooking purposes.
Residents enjoy the opportunity to buy with no waiting and no delay at our self-service Kiosk on G/F. Charged printing service is available.
Study room on 5/F is available for residents’ use from 7:30am to 1am daily.

A pantry is located beside the lift lobby. It is equipped with a sink, refrigerator and microwave oven. There are no cooking facilities in the pantry nor in any other areas in the hall premises.
Each apartment has two toilets and two shower rooms. Hot water is provided.
The laundry is equipped with washing machines, dryers, ironing boards and a scale.
The basketball court in the open area of the Hall is available for use from 10:30am to 10:30pm daily.

The Fitness Room is available for residents use from 8:45am to 10:30pm daily.

This is information about the shuttle bus service for HKUST Jockey Club Hall residents. It is only available for residents and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents must present their resident card to use the service. The schedule is subject to change without prior notice by the JCH Management Office.
