Off-campus housing option with special price(Sunny House)

In response to the increasing demand for student accommodation and to better anticipate the bedspace shortage for RPgs under priority housing, off-campus housing with special price, Sunny House, will be offered to Continuing RPgs with priority housing.

- 200 bedspaces will be offered in Twin Room Setting. No couple rooms are available.

• The charges include water & electricity fee (inclusive of air-conditioning), weekly housekeeping services, free Wi-fi and 24hr Security & CCTV System service.
• Laundry charges are NOT included in the charges listed above.
Payment Schedule
The charges of Sunny House are to be paid in 2 instalments as follows:

Note : Accommodation charges must be paid in FULL and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Students who accept the housing offers are committed to pay the accommodation charges of the ENTIRE period they have accepted irrespective of their actual days of stay.
* For current residents staying in hall during RY2025–26 who accept the Sunny House offer, the check out date will be extended to 16 August 2026.
Regulations
(a) Roommate Pairing up:
- During the RPG Hall Application stage, students who select “Sunny House” as one of their preferences, may indicate a preferred roommate to share the same room.
- After the announcement of RPG Hall Application results, students who receive and accept a Sunny House offer may submit their final roommate preference. The preferred roommate must meet the following criteria:
o A HKUST continuing RPGs with a valid Sunny House Offer via HKUST Hall Application
o Same gender
(b) Hall/ Room Swapping: not applicable to Sunny House Residents
(c) Early Withdrawal: not applicable to Sunny House Residents. All charges posted are NON-refundable and NON-transferable.
