Release of Results of UG Hall Application 2023-24 (New!)

The result of UG Hall Application 2023-24 was released on 2 June 2023. Hall offers were issued to successful hall applicants under the stream of Priority Housing and Hall Point system. Also, under the hall point system, 25% of hall places allocated for non-local/ verified NHB students were offered to those who succeeded in the lottery. Applicants may wish to browse their Hall Point via the online hall system (https://studenthousing.hkust.edu.hk/page/HallPoint). 

Successful hall applicants should ACCEPT the hall offer online within the offer acceptance period at or before the deadline at 11:59pm, 5 June 2023 (HK Time). Late acceptance of hall offer is not considered, and their hall places will be recovered respectively.

Quota allocation by the discretion of Residence Masters are scheduled to release in mid to late June 2023, which includes applications of students who are with special circumstances and obtain approval of the Residence Masters. Those applicants who have already reported their special circumstances should be patient for our update in around mid-June 2023. 

The waiting list has also been updated as of 2 June 2023. Please refer to latest waiting list via https://shrl-admission.hkust.edu.hk/ughwaitinglist.

It is the responsibility of the hall applicants to check with the Student Housing and Residential Life Office either in person or by writing to ughousing@ust.hk if they do not find any update by late June 2023.
